Inside Madame Tussauds in Dubai, you can meet world celebrities in politics, sports, art, fashion, and many, many others. The museum is an indoor tourist attraction that showcases the most famous international personalities through a unique collection of wax statues, interactive installations, and advanced technology.

The museum opened Bluewaters Island near Ain Dubai, as an extension of the international “Tusso” museum series, which was started by the lady more than 200 years ago in London, to serve as a mobile newspaper that conveys important news to the people, as the first museum was established in London in 1835 in the Baker Street Bazaar, before moving to its current iconic location on Marylebone Road in 1884.

Madame Tussauds chose Dubai as the headquarters for its branch in the Middle East, as the museum has 24 branches in Europe. The Middle East; Asia; Australia and the United States of America, and occupies the Dubai branch No. 25, where the museum includes 60 statues of the most prominent international personalities that include Hollywood celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lawrence and Jackie Chan, and bright stars from Bollywood such as Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Karina Kapoor, and the most prominent athletes such as Sachin Tendulkar And Lionel Messi, in addition to the most important global leaders such as former US President Donald Trump, the late British Queen Elizabeth II, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and President of China Xi Jinping Bening, the museum also includes 16 new wax statues of famous personalities from the Middle East, including Nancy Ajram, Maya Diab, Muhammad Assaf, Balqis Fathi, musician Hassan El Shafei, and artist Ahmed Fahmy.

The museum includes seven sections, divided between leaders, fashion, art, and others, as each section includes interactive experiences.

It takes the museum’s curators about four months to design a wax statue, which is made by an experienced team of 20 skilled artists, who rely on more than 200 different measuring tools that include the sitting position, sewing tufts of hair manually on the entire head, and others.
