Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh said that the dispute over banning the “Tik Tok” application in Jordan is based on the lack of clear standards about the content published in the application.

Al-Khasawneh added, “The published content must be responded to by the application’s administration about finding a regional or local office affiliated with the application, TikTok.”

And he indicated that the management of the application should respond to Jordanian demands regarding setting clear standards for the content that is published on the application.

He pointed out that the dialogue is still continuing with those in charge of the “Tik Tok” application to lift the ban on it locally.

This came during a dialogue held by the Prime Minister, on Thursday, with students of the universities of the Northern Region regarding the paths of modernization at Yarmouk University.
