The number of passengers was distributed to the three airports during the first half of this year, so that the share of Queen Alia International Airport reached 96 percent of the total operation, with 4.35 million passengers, with an aircraft fullness rate of 69 percent.
Mesto indicated that the highest travel destinations that Queen Alia International Airport was linked to were the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with approximately 700 thousand passengers, followed by the United Arab Emirates with 570 thousand passengers, then Turkey with 452 thousand passengers, and in fourth place Egypt with 391 thousand passengers. Fifth place is Qatar, with 209 thousand, and the United States of America, with 208 thousand arriving and departing passengers.
And he indicated that the number of passengers at King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba amounted to 192 thousand arriving and departing passengers, of whom 55 thousand passengers moved between Amman and Aqaba, and the United Arab Emirates – Abu Dhabi ranked first for international flights with 16.7 thousand passengers, and then 14.2 thousand arriving passengers. And departing from Warsaw in Poland, and 11.2 thousand passengers moved between Sofia in Bulgaria to Aqaba, Cairo in the Arab Republic of Egypt ranked fourth with 8.3 thousand passengers, while Istanbul in Turkey ranked fifth with 7.2 passengers, and 5395 arriving passengers.
