“Specifications” deals with 16 tons of jewelry during the first half of 2023

The Jordanian Standards and Metrology Institution announced that its cadres examined and stamped (16,202) kilograms of local and imported gold and silver bars and gold bars during the first half of this year.
The Foundation said in a statement that it had examined and stamped (3181) kg of local gold jewelry and (1935) kg of imported gold jewelry during the aforementioned period, and examined (4454) kg of gold bars.
The statement also indicated that the institution dealt with (4482) kg of silver jewelry and (2150) kg of silver bullion, while more than (7450) samples representing gold and silver jewelry and ingots were examined in its laboratories.
The Foundation indicated that its inspection cadres continue their tours of shops and workshops selling and crafting jewelry, as 223 shops and workshops for jewelry were visited in various governorates of the Kingdom.
