Today, the House of Representatives holds its first extraordinary session

On Sunday, the House of Representatives will hold the first session of its extraordinary session, in which it will discuss a number of draft laws. The most prominent of which are draft laws amending the traffic law and electronic crimes.

According to the House of Representatives, the royal wills will be recited, including the adjournment of the regular session of the National Assembly, as of Saturday morning, May 13, 2023, and calling the National Assembly to meet in an extraordinary session, starting from Sunday, July 16, 2023.

The letter of the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission No. (933) dated 6/19/2023 will be read, which includes informing us that “Muhammad Ali Youssef Akour, who received the highest votes, is from the same winning list, which follows the holder of the vacant seat for the third constituency / Irbid Governorate.”

Akour will take the constitutional oath in support of the provisions of Article (80) of the Constitution, in the following text, without addition or omission.

The letter of the Speaker of the Senate No. (811) dated 10/5/2023, which includes a draft law amending the Companies Law for the year 2022 (returned by the Senate), will be read.

During the session, the books received from the government will be read, which are the Prime Minister’s letter No. (39032) dated 7/10/2023, which includes the draft law on partnership projects between the public and private sectors for the year 2023, and the Prime Minister’s letter No. (37359) dated 7/2/2023 that includes a draft A law amending the Traffic Law for the year 2023, and the Prime Minister’s letter No. (30070) dated 14/5/2023 containing a draft law amending the law for the formation of Sharia courts for the year 2023.

was added to the agenda; The Prime Minister’s letter No. (39934) dated 7/15/2023 containing a draft law amending the Real Estate Property Law for the year 2023, and the Prime Minister’s letter No. (39933) dated 7/15/2023 containing the draft cybercrime law for the year 2023, after they were approved by the Council Ministers and referred them to the Council.
