The Ministry of Investment has included on the “Invest in Jordan” platform the “Aqaba Center for Artistic and Media Production” project in the city of Aqaba.

The project includes assistance in establishing a center for artistic and media production, by participating in the design of production facilities, equipping and furnishing studios and other facilities, and hiring a team to manage, market and operate the facilities and cover operating expenses.

According to the platform, the Aqaba Development Company aims to establish an integrated center for film and television production and other creative facilities, which will better serve a large number of multinational production teams, and will work on filming their artworks in the Golden Triangle region (Aqaba, Petra and the Rum region).

This project will include the development and operation of a comprehensive media center, including an operations center, a multi-purpose studio, a modern outdoor shooting area, and post-production facilities at the highest level, with a total area of ​​116,000 square meters.

The project is expected to include four large warehouses, 20 duplex offices, large parking lots, and outdoor photo areas, with an area of ​​60,000 square meters, in addition to accommodation facilities and a vocational training institute.

The project is strategically located at the northern tip of Aqaba, only 6 kilometers from King Hussein International Airport, 4 kilometers from downtown Aqaba, and 35 kilometers to the heart of Wadi Rum.
