Jenny Bond, the royal expert, said that Prince William, 41, carries the legacy of his late mother, Princess Diana, and the former BBC royal correspondent revealed that William, Prince of Wales, is determined to mend the distance between the monarchy and the public, something that is allegedly Diana was keen to change him.

Bond explained that one of the ways William hopes to achieve this goal and follow in his mother’s footsteps is through his new initiative,homewards which aims to eradicate homelessness, as Prince William hopes to prevent homelessness and raise awareness about the issue.

And she continued, “It is clear that William is determined not only to continue his mother’s work, but to complete it to address the problem of homelessness.” And during an interview with the London Sunday Times last month, Prince William admitted that his mother is his source of inspiration, who was often engaged in humanitarian work. And she took him to a homeless shelter when he was 11 years old.

“Now he wants not only to tackle homelessness, but to eradicate it,” Bond said. “In almost everything he does and says, William gently moves the monarchy forward,” Bond said. “He knows, and has said publicly, that it is his job to keep the monarchy relevant in modern society.”
