Compass – Inside the forests of Ajloun Governorate, in northern Jordan, with a view that allows the visitor to enjoy the view of very green trees, specifically in the “Umm Al-Yanabe’” area, the young Jordanian woman, Nour Al-Shdaifat, chose the place for a project whose idea was inspired by her frequent visits to Istanbul, Turkey.

Al-Shudaifat (36 years old) decided a year ago to transfer the experience of living inside the charming nature from Turkey to her country, by establishing a special project, containing wooden huts and various facilities, distributed on a plot of land of 10 dunams (a dunam is a thousand square meters).

Anatolia correspondent visited the place and was briefed on the reality of its design, which captivates the beauty of its view to the viewer of its visitors, and gives them the opportunity to see the details of an area, which some describe as a charming painting due to its beauty.

• Istanbul inspiration
  Al-Shadaifat, the owner of the place and the owner of the idea, told Anadolu Agency: “Before I set up this project, I searched for the most beautiful view in Ajloun Governorate.”

And she continued, “Since the first time I visited Istanbul in 2007, when I was at the university, I sat in a place similar to this place, which contains dozens of wooden huts.”

And she continued: “From there the idea was born to me, and although it took time to implement, I brought it out in a manner worthy of this waiting, and in a manner different from many, with the presence of some similar places.”

Al-Shudaifat explained: “I visited Istanbul more than 26 times, and I came out of those visits by establishing this place, which I called Noor Resort, and I built 13 wooden huts, including pyramidal ones and ones with a regular design.”

She added, “I did not seek the help of interior designers or specialists, as the idea of ​​every part of the place was born of the moment, so that I remember what I saw in Turkey, and implement it on the ground, with the help of manpower to do so.”

The place, according to Al-Shudaifat, “contains many facilities that allow anyone to stay overnight, and the area of ​​​​each hut ranges from 30 to 52 square meters. It also contains an integrated restaurant that serves delicious Arabic, Western and Turkish meals.”

And she added, “The visitor to this place can live the atmosphere of nature, among the evergreen forests of Ajloun, throughout the year.”

The level of demand for the place increases greatly during the months of July, August and September; Due to the appropriate weather on these dates, compared to the high temperatures in the rest of the Kingdom’s governorates, according to Al-Shadaifat.

The Jordanian initiative feels proud, saying: “Although the place has only been in use for one year, the turnout is very high, and we receive visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom.”

• Youth initiative
  As for what distinguishes the place from others, the young Jordanian woman considered that “the words and impressions of visitors confirm this. They always say that being in this place makes us feel as if we are sitting in the most beautiful resorts in Turkey.”

She believed that “Jordanian youth have ideas that make them compete in the world, but they need support.”

She said, “With this emerging project, I was able to secure job opportunities for about 25 young men and women who hold university degrees and are waiting to find a job that will help them in life, and their number will increase at the peak of work to 45.”

The calmness and tranquility of the place, the sounds of the rustling of tree leaves, and the chirping of birds, give the place a luster that prompts the visitor to resolve to repeat the experience, especially inside the wooden huts in which the young Jordanian woman was able to provide all the necessities of comfort.

Ajloun governorate is characterized by its mild climate in summer, which makes it a destination for visitors from inside and outside Jordan, and permanent greenery that gives the Jordanian city a charming beauty that captivates the viewers.
