The Parliamentary Reform Bloc rejected the blatant campaign against former MP, Dr. Dima Tahboub, by websites that represent currents that support and promote deviant intellectual and moral trends, based on spreading the culture of homosexuality that is rejected and rejected religiously and morally.

The bloc said in a statement that Tahboub presented a rational and sublime speech committed to the nation’s constants, the principles of Islam and the virtues of morals in divine laws, calling for preserving values ​​and spreading virtue, and urging to stand united in the face of those leading campaigns that deviate from instinct, religion and higher values ​​​​that spread obscenity and perversion. Which would destroy the family, society and the state, which prompts those parties to target them with rhetoric of incitement, lies, slander, and character assassination, after they were unable to confront them in the field of law and the judiciary.

The bloc condemned these tendentious campaigns, and we call on the official authorities to stand up to their duty and responsibilities in following up and prosecuting the deviant groups that have not stopped targeting the Jordanian society for sabotage, and targeting Dima Tahboub with threats at times and incitement against her at other times.

She added, “Dima Tahboub, the representative and the national figure that we cherish and proud of, represents in her position the conscience of the Jordanian street, and that attempting to target her would harm the security, fabric, and stability of society, and that we stand and strongly support her positions in fighting the groups that call for spreading moral perversion in Jordanian society. We allow these groups to have any role in our societies, and what is their inflammatory rhetoric against Dr. Dima Tahboub is clear evidence of hate speech, racism and incitement to murder.

And she stressed that the position required of everyone is that we stand together in the face of everyone who targets our religion, belief, constitution, laws and values ​​and tampering with the security of our society, and we will work to follow all constitutional and legal procedures and means to find legislation that is greater deterrent and more severe punishment for these groups that represent a break with the law and a dangerous attempt to disturb order. general in the state.
