The prices of both types of gasoline decreased in the global markets in the first week of this July, while the prices of diesel and kerosene increased, compared to their prices in the month of last June, according to data announced by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources today, Monday.
According to the data, in the first week of July, 90-octane gasoline recorded a price of $725 per ton, compared to the average price of last June, which amounted to $742.1, a decrease of 2.3 percent.
And 95-octane gasoline in the global markets recorded $779.9 per ton, compared to $789.8 in last June, a decrease of 1.3 percent.
The price of diesel increased from $638.9 per ton to $652.4 per ton, an increase of 2.1 percent, and the price of kerosene increased from $688.8 per ton to $706.4 per ton, an increase of 2.6 percent.
The price of fuel oil increased from $419.4 per ton to $447.7 per ton, an increase of 6.7 percent. The price of liquefied petroleum gas decreased in the first week of this July to $381.3 per ton, compared to the price recorded in last June, which amounted to $442.5 per ton, a decrease. It reached 13.8 percent.
On the other hand, the average price of Brent crude increased in the first week of this month to reach $76.4 per barrel, compared to its average price in June, which amounted to $74.7, with an increase of 2.3 percent.
