Today, Sunday, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Samira Al-Zoubi, inaugurated the activation stations for the digital identity of the “Sanad” application through the iris of the eye at the King Hussein Cancer Center.
Al-Zoubi said that the ministry, within the framework of the strategy and the national plan for digital transformation, always seeks to strengthen partnership with all government and private sectors to reach the desired digital transformation, so the activation of the digital identity, which is one of the main pillars of the digital transformation process, came through the establishment of Sanad stations that are currently deployed in all parts of the Kingdom, in cooperation with our partners, to urge citizens to activate the digital identity and benefit from all the services and features that they can obtain through the application.
Al-Zoubi explained that the activation of the digital identity provides many advantages. Such as obtaining digital government services, accessing personal information and government digital documents, signing documents digitally, in addition to paying bills and transaction fees for government services and the private sector, and accessing the latest records and private personal information, including ID card information, family book, driver’s license details, vehicles, and property And real estate, education, health insurance, social security, agencies, guarantees, violations, judicial requests and much more information, and access to government, private and locally approved digital documents.
She pointed out that Sanad provides an ideal experience for obtaining automated government services in a digital and secure way, without the need for personal presence in government institutions and with the greatest possible ease and comfort, and that the application contains a large number of other advantages; Such as the electronic signature, which is equivalent to a handwritten signature, and is certified and trusted within high levels of security and confidentiality.
For his part, Assistant Director General for Patient Affairs at the King Hussein Cancer Center, Dr. Munther Hawarat, said that activating the digital identity of the Sanad application is a very important step to enter the e-government, which makes it easier for the center’s employees and patients to benefit from the multiple advantages in the application, thus shortening the procedures and transactions compared to Traditional procedures and reduce the period spent by patients in the center.
In turn, the director of Sanad stations, Hassan Al-Ahmad, said that there are more than 400 stations to activate the digital identity of the Sanad application in all governorates of the Kingdom, and we also make field visits through a field team to most government and private institutions.
