Hussein Hilalat, vice president of the Jordan Hotels Association, speaking for it, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) today, Thursday, that occupancy rates in 5-star hotels reached 55 percent in the capital, Amman, and 59 percent in the Dead Sea, while it reached 65 percent in Aqaba and 32 percent in Petra. .

And Hilalat indicated that the occupancy rates for hotels of other categories were distributed as follows:
The capital: 4-star category 47 percent, 3-star 52 percent, the Dead Sea: 4-star category about 41 percent, Aqaba: 4-star category 62 percent, 3-star 63 percent, Petra: 4-star category 28 percent, 3-star 11 percent.
