The Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee warned “of the repercussions of the brutal Israeli aggression on the people in the city of Jenin,” calling on the international community to take immediate action to stop the crimes of the occupier and provide protection for the Palestinian people.

In a press statement issued today, Monday, by its Chairman, Representative Khaldoun Hayna, the committee considered that the Israeli aggression constitutes a dangerous escalation that will lead the region to more violence and tension, and will undermine the efforts made to achieve a just and comprehensive peace.

The committee held the Israeli occupation forces fully responsible for the situation in Jenin camp, as a result of these brutal crimes, which amount to war crimes.

And she stressed that the crimes of the occupation will only increase the valiant Palestinian people’s steadfastness and determination to continue their struggle to obtain their legitimate rights and establish their independent state on its national soil with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
