Preliminary data issued by the Central Bank indicates that remittances of workers abroad witnessed an improvement in their performance during the month of May of 2023 compared to the same month of 2022, by 2.3%, amounting to $296.8 million (210.4 million dinars).

The remittances of workers abroad during the first five months of 2023 amounted to $1,399.7 billion (992.4 million dinars), compared to $1,421.7 billion (one billion dinars) during the corresponding period of 2022.
