The Secretary of the Jordanian Money Exchange Association, Alaa Diranieh, said that the local exchange market witnessed strong activity since the beginning of this week.

In a statement to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Deiranieh said that the movement of incoming and outgoing remittances to and from the Kingdom is active, and is higher than it was during the last Eid Al-Fitr, and relative to this time of the year.

He pointed out that tourism and the return of expatriates to spend their holidays in Jordan boosted the demand for dinars, in addition to the large supply of Gulf currencies.
