The Standards and Metrology Institution announced the continuation of inspection tours and receiving complaints throughout the blessed Eid Al-Adha days, and tightening its control over scales for selling sacrificial animals and live meat, as part of its annual inspection plan.

The Director General of the Foundation, Eng. Abeer Barakat Al-Zuhair, stated that the plan will include tours focusing on scales and containers for selling sacrificial animals and products that are in high demand during the Eid season.

Al-Zuhair added that the tours will cover all regions of the Kingdom, in addition to the continuation of the border control cadres to work in the customs centers throughout the Eid holiday, and 24 hours a day in some centers.
