The number of Jordanians who visited Turkey decreased to nearly 100,000 tourists during the first five months of this year compared to last year.

According to the numbers and statistics of the Turkish Ministry of Tourism, the number of Jordanians who visited Turkey until the end of last May amounted to 99,479 visitors, compared to 123 thousand visitors last year, with a decrease of 19.4%.

Jordanians ranked fourth in the Arab world in the list of the most visited nationalities to Turkey, after Iraq, which topped the list with 352 thousand visitors, Saudi Arabia 169 thousand, and Kuwait 132 thousand.

The total number of visitors to Turkey at the end of last May reached 14 million. Russian nationals topped the list of the highest entry to the country with 1.8 million visitors, followed by Germans with 1.5 million visitors, and Bulgarians with 1.05 million.
