The media spokesman for the Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, Dr. Ali Al-Daqamseh, denied the death of any pilgrims from the Jordanian pilgrims’ mission to the Holy Land.

He told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the Jordanian citizen, whose death was reported through local media, is not among the members of the Jordanian Hajj mission, indicating that the deceased resided in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and while working in the Jeddah region, he was involved in a traffic accident and died as a result.

Al-Daqamseh expressed the condolences of the Ministry of Awqaf, represented by its Minister, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khalayleh, to the family of the deceased, praying to God Almighty to bless him with the abundance of his mercy and dwell him in his spacious gardens, and to inspire his family with patience and good condolences.

On the other hand, the media spokesman confirmed that all Jordanian pilgrims have been dispatched from Medina to Makkah Al-Mukarramah, accommodated in hotels and provided all services for them, and all of them are in good health condition.
