The number of those sentenced to death in Jordan reached 2019, including 22 females, of whom the sentence was issued and has not yet been executed for decades, noting that there are those sentenced to death since 1976 who have not yet been executed.

This came during a discussion session organized by the Adalah Center for Human Rights Studies today, in which it was also stated that the last execution of the death penalty in Jordan was in the year 2017, while 11 death sentences were issued in the year 2022.
