The Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, and head of the Jordanian Hajj missions, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khalayleh, said that the ministry has begun to dispatch the kingdom’s pilgrims by land to Makkah Al-Mukarramah, where the rest of the pilgrims will be completed in batches today, Monday.

This came during his meeting with the Hajj Media Mission, in Medina.

The Hajj media mission accompanied Minister Al-Khalayleh, during an inspection tour of the homes of Jordanian pilgrims in Medina, to find out about the reality of the services provided to them, to check on them, and to listen to their observations.

Al-Khalayleh added that the Ministry of Awqaf, through its administrative mission, has worked since the arrival of Jordanian pilgrims to Medina to accommodate them in hotels, provide all services represented in subsistence and provide them with everything necessary, noting that the Ministry has chosen hotels for them close to the Prophet’s Mosque within what is known as the central area.

Al-Khalayleh indicated that all Jordanian pilgrims traveling by land had arrived in Medina, and they were in full health and wellness, after intensive follow-up by the cadres of the administrative mission present from the Jordanian-Saudi border to Medina, pointing out that the accompanying medical mission dealt with some cases and they were treated.

During the inspection tour, Al-Khalayleh listened to the pilgrims’ opinions about the level of hotel services provided to them, expressing their thanks and appreciation to the administrative and advisory staff of the Ministry in providing services and responding to the observations received by them, as the Minister of Awqaf directed all missions to work immediately to solve any problem or observation they receive. of Jordanian pilgrims immediately.
