The governor of the capital, Yasser Al-Adwan, prevented the holding of an event showing a film promoting homosexuality in a downtown cafe in the capital, Amman.

In the details, Al-Adwan said to Al-Ghad that the ban came because the film promotes abnormal relationships, which are considered a challenge to the values ​​of Jordanian society.

The event was scheduled to be held during the next week, with a limited number of attendees, in an attempt by its organizers not to cause a stir in Jordanian society, which was revealed by the concerned authorities, and it was decided to prevent the event from being held.

Al-Ghad learned that the organizer of the event holds an Arab nationality and tried to hold the same event in his country, but the authorities of his country prevented him from doing so, so he diverted the course of holding the event to Jordan.
