Prince William, Prince of Wales, was keen to celebrate Father’s Day, corresponding to Sunday in Britain, and published his official account on the “Instagram” site, a rare picture of the prince accompanied by his three children.

In this photo, released to mark the occasion, Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 8, look at their father as Prince Louis, 5, poses directly into the camera as he wraps his arms around his father. In a deep hug.

The image also contains a subtle but poignant tribute to the children’s grandmother, as they stood on a bench installed in Windsor to celebrate the late Queen’s 90th birthday on April 19, 2016..

This photo was taken by photographer and family friend Millie Pilkington earlier this year at the Windsor Estate – possibly around the same time Louis was photographed in a wheelbarrow to celebrate his fifth birthday in April.

It is worth noting that Father’s Day comes in the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada, on the third Sunday in June, and in Australia it is usually celebrated on the first Sunday in September.
