Chinese media recently reported a strange case of an employee named “Wang” who sued his employer for wrongful dismissal after he was fired for spending a lot of time in the toilet during working hours. After undergoing a delicate surgery, the man continued to feel pain and discomfort, so he began to spend 3 to 6 hours on the toilet every day.
Wang’s former employer claims that over a 10-day period, he took a total of 22 bathroom breaks, which lasted between 47 minutes and 6 hours. – who did not give her name – from Tianjin, employing Wang, according to the website odditycentral.
Wang underwent the surgery in December 2014, and his employer claims he began taking unusually long bathroom breaks after returning to work in July 2015, something he spent several hours on the office toilet.
