The General Assembly of the Private Hospitals Association chose the Director General of Al-Israa Hospital, Dr. Nael Al-Masalha, as its president during its regular general meeting on Saturday.

During the meeting, the Commission also chose the Director of Al-Istiqlal Hospital, Ahmed Al-Ahmad, as Vice-President, the Assistant Director-General of the Specialty Hospital, Dr.

During the meeting chaired by the former president of the association, Dr. Fawzi Al-Hamouri, the commission approved the administrative report and the balance sheet for the fiscal year ending for the association.

The members of the General Assembly elected a new board of directors, whereby the following hospitals were elected: Al-Isra Hospital, Specialty Hospital, Jordan Hospital, Islamic Hospital, Istiqlal Hospital, Marka Specialized Hospital and Al-Salam Al-Karak Hospital.

The Society honored Dr. Fawzi Al-Hamouri with a memorial shield, in appreciation of his donations during the past 18 years in which he presided over the Society.

The President of the Private Hospitals Association, Dr. Nael Zaidan Al-Masalha, expressed their appreciation for Dr. Hammouri’s strenuous efforts in serving Jordan first and serving the private health sector second, stressing that he and his fellow members of the Board of Directors will do everything they can to preserve the path of achievements made by Dr. Hammouri in raising The reputation of the Jordanian health sector and highlighting the name of Jordan as a regional center and destination for medical and hospital tourism.
