Dr. Fawzi Al-Hamouri announced that he does not intend to run for the presidency of the Private Hospitals Association in the meeting of the General Assembly of the Association, which will be held today, Saturday, corresponding to Saturday, after he held this position for nearly 18 years.

Al-Hamouri expressed his thanks and gratitude to his colleagues, directors of private hospitals, who gave him their trust throughout these years, and praised his fellow members of the successive boards of directors who shared with him the work to serve the association, and expressed his pride in the successes achieved during this period. At the level of the association, the number of its members has doubled, reaching 58 hospitals. It constitutes 95% of the size of the sector, and its position has been strengthened and it has become respected inside and outside Jordan, as the association is represented in dozens of councils, bodies and committees in various sectors, and he was keen, through his presidency of the association, to raise the quality of services and contribute to the establishment of the Health Institutions Accreditation Council, as well as contribute to the establishment of a company Health Computing (Hakim) and his efforts to preserve the good reputation that the Jordanian health sector has achieved over the past decades, sticking to the ways that led to enhancing the investment environment, which made the volume of investment in the sector more than 4 billion dinars and employs more than 40 thousand employees.

It is noteworthy that among the fruits of these efforts, the association won the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence for the business associations sector for the best practices category in 2009 and the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence for the Seal of Excellence category in 2013.
