As part of its plan for digital transformation, the Department of Hajj and Umrah launched the updated version of the Jordanian Pilgrim application as a guide for pilgrims to the Sacred House of God while performing rituals in the Holy Land.

The application includes prayer times in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and the capital Amman, the next prayer that follows the prayer performed by the pilgrim, the temperature outside the place where the pilgrim is, and the jurisprudential rulings related to the rituals of Hajj.

The application also includes supplications narrated from the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, at every stage of the rituals, and begins with supplications for travel and visiting the Noble Prophet’s Mosque, peace be upon the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, supplications for circumambulation, seeking and the day of Arafah, and the sequence of Hajj steps with a simplified explanation of each step. In addition to the Hajj and Umrah Guide, which is the guide issued by the Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, which can be viewed without the Internet at any time, and includes all the necessary legal rulings.

The application includes important alerts that reach the pilgrim through the application, represented by the digital identity of the pilgrim, which is necessary during the performance of rituals and entering his place of residence in the mission in the feelings of Mina and Arafat, and the addresses of hotels, in addition to all the addresses of hotels, mission management and medical clinics, and the pilgrim can use the digital identity through the maps application on Telephone to reach the campus and while using transportation.
