Mudawara Border Center has received 6,500 Jordanian and Arab pilgrims since last Tuesday

The director of the Mudawara Border Center with Saudi Arabia received 6,500 Jordanian and Arab pilgrims from last Tuesday until Friday, before they headed to the Saudi Halat Ammar Center, according to the center’s director, Colonel Ahmed Al-Saudi.

The number of Jordanian pilgrims this year is 8,000 male and female pilgrims, 2775 male and female pilgrims chose to perform Hajj by air, while 4162 male and female pilgrims chose to perform Hajj by land, according to the Ministry of Awqaf.

On Wednesday, the first convoys of Jordanian pilgrims set off, transporting about 650 pilgrims. The Ministry of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, in the city of pilgrims in the Giza District, set up a celebration on the occasion of the farewell of the first convoys of Jordanian pilgrims to the Holy Land.
