Al-Bawsala – The Chairman of the Development Zones Group, Khalaf Al-Hmisat, announced the opening of the Ajloun cable car to citizens tomorrow, Friday.

The length of the cable car is 2.5 km, as the first station starts from the plot allocated to the company within the lands of the Ajloun development area, while the second station will be to exit near Ajloun Castle.

Work began on the implementation of the Ajloun cable car project at the end of May 2020, as the project includes 40 vehicles that can be expanded, with a capacity of 8 people per vehicle,” according to previous statements by the group.

He added that the opening of the various markets will provide at least 700 job opportunities, as the facilities extend from the starting station and include a restaurant, a cafe and a commercial market, as well as the arrival station, which includes a seasonal market, a restaurant and a cafe, according to Al-Hamisat.

Al-Hamisat said that the project will be a tool to attract investments.

He pointed out that the group took it upon itself to recruit workers from Ajloun governorate, if available.
