The strategic expert, Amer Al-Sabaila, confirmed that smuggling techniques are constantly evolving, which is not new, as the networks have become well-established and have relations outside the region, and with gangs with more experience.

Al-Sabaila said that many technologies reach these gangs today, and therefore the battle with them will be long-term and will take many forms.

And he indicated that the form of the development of the smuggling process indicates the existence of a strong structure for these gangs and is able to continue, indicating that Jordan is forced to implement an internal strategy and on its borders.

Al-Sabaileh indicated that Jordan is concerned with targeting every citizen who smuggles drugs and thus raises the cost of combating smuggling, calling on Jordan to benefit from the Anti-Captagon Law approved by the United States of America, which expands partnerships and expertise, and direct targeting of these operations and thus throwing the ball at the Syrian side.

On Tuesday morning, the eastern military region shot down, on one of its facades within its area of ​​responsibility, a drone loaded with narcotics coming from Syrian territory.

An official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army said: The Border Guard forces, in coordination with the military security services and the Anti-Narcotics Department, detected an attempt to illegally cross the border from Syrian territory into Jordanian territory, and it was shot down inside Jordanian territory. .”

The source added that after the plane was shot down, it was found that it was carrying 500 grams of crystal, and the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities.

The source emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces continue to deal with force and firmness with any threat on the border fronts, and any endeavors intended to undermine and destabilize the security of the homeland and terrorize its citizens.
