There are various historical accounts about the origin of ta’miya. Some accounts say that ta’miya was part of the diet of the Copts in the ancient era, while other accounts attribute its origin to the era of the Pharaohs. It is referred to as “Falafel” in Lower Egypt.

How to make pizza stuffed with falafel
the components:
1/2 cup chopped tomato
1/2 cup chopped lettuce
Two tablespoons of lemon juice
1/2 cup of tahini salad
A cup of ready-made falafel dough
quarter cup of Vegetarian oil
A cup of warm water
One tablespoon of white sugar
One tablespoon of yeast
Two tablespoons of powdered milk
Two cups of white or brown flour
1/2 cup sliced cucumber
1/2 cup pitted olives
How to prepare falafel pizza
Mix the dry ingredients of flour, milk, sugar, yeast to make the dough, then add the oil, then the water and stir until a dough is formed.
After mixing the dough well, cover it with nylon paper and leave it in a warm place for 10 minutes, then spread it out on a baking tray and brush its surface with olive oil.
Spread the falafel dough over the pizza dough, put it in the oven and bake until it is done. Meanwhile, prepare the flour mixture by adding the lemon gradually with stirring, and a small amount of water can be added.
Pour 1/2 the amount of tahini salad mix over the falafel pizza, then distribute the vegetables appropriately, then pour the rest of the tahini salad
