Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh received in his office at the Prime Ministry, on Monday, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Albemarle Company, the strategic partner in the Jordan Kent Masters Bromine Factory.

During the meeting, which was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Public Sector Modernization Nasser Shraideh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Bromine Company, Shehadeh Abu Hudaib, and General Manager of the Company, Samer Asfour, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of this strategic partnership between the Jordan Bromine Company and the American Albemarle Company, which constitutes Success stories achieved by the Jordan Bromine Factory since its establishment 20 years ago, which is the second largest bromine plant in the world.

Al-Khasawneh also affirmed the government’s support for the expansion plans and projects that the company intends to implement, stressing that the Jordan Bromine Factory is a real success story for the Jordanian industry and contributes to providing high added value to the Jordanian economy.

The Prime Minister pointed to the measures taken by the government to enhance the investment environment, including the completion of the law regulating the investment environment, which provides real incentives for investments, pointing to the existence of real and promising opportunities for investment in many mining sectors.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Albemarle Company, who is also Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Bromine Company, presented the plans and projects of the Jordan Bromine Company to expand and enhance productivity and build on the successes achieved by the company since its inception.
