She explained that the beaches rarely see sharks, as the navigation movement that takes place via ships of all kinds and tourist boats is a mechanism that repels those types of fish that lie in the depths of the sea, and that the navy boats and royal boats are constantly on the move and comb the beaches and have a monitoring mechanism around the clock. the hour.

The authority indicated that the shark caught by a fisherman a few days ago was not near the shore of the Gulf of Aqaba, but rather it was caught far from the beaches and not close to the places designated for swimming and recreation.

The authority called for taking information from official sources in order to avoid the circulation of incorrect information, which constitutes an unjustified fear for the tourism sector, stressing that fishing for these marine life, including sharks, is prohibited and subject to severe penalties, indicating that frequenting the clean beaches of Aqaba is completely free from any danger.
