The accident occurred in the Indian district of Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh. And “odishatv” said that during the wedding ceremony, the two families began the ceremony of exchanging wreaths. When the bride saw this, she got angry and refused to consummate their marriage, and started screaming on the stage in a loud voice. The bride explained, “I don’t want to marry the groom, because he has dark skin and drinks a lot of alcohol.”

When her father found out that he was drunk, he became frustrated and refused to participate in the wedding. Despite the bride and groom’s constant discussion during the night, they could not come to a conclusion.

Afterwards, the bride’s father reported the incident to the police, and they went to the wedding venue, where they arrested the groom for alcohol abuse.
