The Compass – The Hebrew newspaper “Israel Hayom” published, on Wednesday, news that Jordan prevented the entry of Israeli personalities affiliated with the occupation who hold positions in local bodies because of their “religious dress.”

She added that these personalities had to remove “religious signs” from their uniforms in order to allow them to enter Jordan.

Jordanian officials – according to the Hebrew newspaper – at the border crossing asked members of the delegation to lift their shirts, refusing to approve the entry of anyone wearing badges of a “religious nature.”

The newspaper claimed, “One of the Jews claimed that a Jordanian employee at the crossing took his “kippah” and threw it in the rubbish bin.
