The government has put out a bid for the construction of Al-Sadr Square in Aqaba Governorate, in a project that includes an administrative building with an area of ​​more than 500 square meters, according to the Government Bidding Department.

The department called on the Jordanian contractors classified with it in the field of buildings, specializing in the construction of buildings in the second or third category, or specializing in metal facilities in the first or second category, according to a valid classification certificate, to apply for the tender, as of last May 30.

The project includes, according to a document seen by the “Kingdom”, “the construction of Sader Square in Aqaba Governorate, where the square contains an administrative building consisting of two floors with an area of ​​(540) square meters, a metal canopy with an area of ​​(1570) square meters and other buildings and services with an area of ​​(225) square meters inclusive. All external works and businesses are according to what was stated in the purchase documents,” according to the department, noting that the price of one copy of the purchase documents amounts to 500 dinars, “non-refundable.”

The deadline for paying the purchase documents is June 15, according to the document. She indicated that the tender offer would not be accepted if the validity of the classification certificate issued by the Bidding Department on the date of submitting the offers expired, and no matter how extended the date of submitting the offers.

The document talked about the bid entry insurance (bank guarantee) submitted in a separate envelope, which is a basic requirement, noting that the value of the insurance amounts to 20,000 dinars, and the duration of the insurance is 90 days.
