Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmed Hanandeh said, on Tuesday, that the importance of the fifth generation technology does not lie in its launch only, but also in the services that will come after it.

Hanandeh added, on the sidelines of the launch of the Fifth Generation Summit, that Jordan is in the process of launching fifth generation services commercially for all companies, stressing the importance of talking about the service that comes in the post-launch stage.

He pointed out the importance of supporting the fifth generation service for government plans and strategies.

With regard to the fifth generation summit, Hanandeh wished to come up with recommendations from the summit related to our role and what is required of us in the next stage.

Hanandeh stressed the importance of adapting the fifth generation technology to serve the Jordanian society, stressing that the aim of providing the fifth generation technology is to serve the Jordanians and the economy.

He pointed out that Jordan is covered by telecommunications services.
