At least 8 people died and several people were injured on Tuesday, following a traffic accident between two pickup vehicles in the Northern Badia in Mafraq Governorate, according to the Public Security Directorate.

The directorate said, in a statement, that the accident resulted in the death of 8 people and the injury of 13 others with fractures, wounds and various bruises in the body.

The statement stated that the specialized ambulance teams provided the necessary first aid to the injured, transferred the injured, and opened an investigation into the accident.
