Islamic Action congratulates President Erdogan and his party on winning the Turkish elections

Al-Bawsala – The Islamic Action Front congratulated the Turkish Justice and Development Party and its leader, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on winning the Turkish presidential elections.

Hussein Dolat, the party’s official in charge of the Islamic file, said, “We congratulate the Turkish people on the success of the presidential and legislative elections, which constituted a sophisticated and civilized democratic model, which confirmed the Turkish people’s adherence to the path of renaissance, achievement, building the Turkish state, the approach of development, and advocacy of the nation’s issues.”

Dalat expressed in his statement to “compassOn the aspirations of the Jordanian people and the Arab peoples so that this victory for the Justice and Development Party and President Erdogan will be a new starting point for Turkey towards strengthening its Arab and Islamic relations and its regional and international standing, championing the nation’s issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, and strengthening friendship and brotherhood relations between the Turkish and Jordanian peoples and the general Arab and Islamic peoples .

The head of the Turkish Supreme Electoral Commission, Ahmed Yanar, announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won the second round of the presidential elections.

The candidate of the People’s Alliance, current President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the candidate of the Nation’s Alliance, the head of the Republican People’s Party, Kamal Kilicdaroglu, competed in the run-off.

In a press conference held in the capital, Ankara, on Sunday, Yanar announced Erdogan’s victory in the second round of the elections, according to the non-final results.

He added, “After counting 99.43 percent of the ballot boxes inside and outside the country, Erdogan won 52.14 percent, compared to 47.86 percent for Kemal Kilicdaroglu (the opposition candidate).”

He explained that the rate of open funds reached 99.32 percent inside the country, and 88.14 percent abroad.

And Yanar indicated that Erdogan won 51.91 percent of the votes inside the country, while Kilicdaroglu got 48.09 percent.

He pointed out that Erdogan received 59.80 of the votes outside the country, while Kilicdaroglu got 40.20 percent.
