Al-Tarawneh stressed that expanding coverage is one of the basic strategic directions of the institution, especially since there is an estimated 50% of unorganized workers working in economic activities that do not fall under the umbrella of requirements and official authorities, which is called (the unorganized sector), as it is a weak and more fragile sector. Its workers are not covered by the protection provided by the social security, although they are more in need than others to be covered by the social security umbrella.
He added that it is the responsibility of the Corporation to provide protection for this segment and take all measures and means to ensure the inclusion of this unregulated sector in the insurance, in conjunction with the Corporation’s awareness-raising procedures and media campaigns to clarify the importance of voluntary subscription for workers in this sector and urge them to take the initiative to be covered by the guarantee.
He explained that the administrative aspect is one of the concerns of the institution that we are currently working on to achieve excellence in serving the public through the institution’s governance, reformulating its organizational structure, training and qualifying its cadres, stressing that the distinguished human element has an important and effective role in achieving the objectives of the institution, strengthening its directions and improving the quality of its services.
Al-Tarawneh stressed the importance of establishing a culture of insurance, insurance and social protection in society through auxiliary and supportive educational policies, procedures and media campaigns for the institution by highlighting its activities, directions, legal materials and regulations, including going to schools and universities to qualify students with the insurance law and the insurance benefits it provides and the obligations incurred by them before joining the labor market. .
He explained that the desired participatory role of the association and its involvement in these media efforts, especially since it represents an important segment of the institution’s audience, who are retirees.
He added that the Foundation will consider future amendments to the law based on the actuarial study that will be prepared by adding legal articles that give the Foundation flexibility in financing activities related to retirees and consolidating the aspect of caring for the retired person financially and morally.

Al-Qara’a stressed that the Social Security Institution is the backbone of social security and the national economy, reviewing the concerns of retirees and their living conditions, indicating that 70% of retirees have salaries less than 500 dinars, and it is necessary for the institution to consider this category to improve its conditions in any future amendments to its law.
He pointed out the need for the Foundation to create arms and windows serving low- and middle-income retirees through its network of strong relationships with all local and civil society institutions and its contributions to the largest national companies by financing some activities that achieve the desired benefit for retirees.
He praised the institution’s initiative to secure discounts and scholarships for the children of retirees, and the need to expedite the completion of all the foundations related to it, stressing that health insurance is the main concern of retirees and is a top priority for them.
