Queen Alia Airport records a 51 percent growth in the number of passengers

From the beginning of the year until the end of last April, the number of passengers through Queen Alia International Airport recorded a growth of 51 percent, with 2.8 million passengers, compared to 1.8 million arriving and departing passengers for the same period in 2022 and 2.7 million passengers during the same period in 2019.
Haitham Mesto, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority, said in a statement today, Thursday, that the movement of incoming and outgoing aircraft through Queen Alia International Airport last April recorded stability, compared to March of this year, while the total number of flights since the beginning of the year reached (23,776) directly linked the Kingdom to 76 international destinations.
The number of daily flights in April reached 224, compared to 176 arriving and departing flights during the same month of 2022, and 191 arriving and departing flights during April 2019.
