Prices of oil derivatives rose in global markets in the second week of May, compared to their prices in the first week of the month, according to data announced by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources today, Wednesday.
According to the data, octane 90 gasoline recorded $714.6 per ton in the second week of May, compared to the average price in the first week, which amounted to $713.7, an increase of 0.1 percent.
In the second week of this month, the price of Brent crude rose to $76.1 per barrel, compared to the average price in the first week, which amounted to $74.6, an increase of 2 percent.
Compared to last April, the price of 95-octane gasoline increased by $757.6 per ton, compared to $750.3 per ton, an increase of 1 percent.
The price of diesel increased from $591.9 per ton to $615.9, an increase of 4.1 percent, and the price of kerosene increased from $661.5 per ton to $683.8 per ton, an increase of 3.4 percent.
The price of fuel oil increased from $419.8 per ton to $427.7 per ton, an increase of 1.9 percent. Liquefied petroleum gas rose in May to $555 per ton, compared to the price recorded in April, which amounted to $547.5 per ton, an increase of 1.4 percent. .
