The number of ships that died in the port of Aqaba during the first three months of this year reached 367 ships, a higher number compared to the same period last year, according to the Jordanian Maritime Authority on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the number of ships carrying passengers reached 36, which is similar to the number of ships carrying general goods, according to Al-Saifi, who said that the number of oil tanker ships reached 33, while the number of ships carrying liquefied petroleum gas reached 19, noting that Aqaba It did not receive ships carrying liquefied natural gas.
Likewise, the number of ships carrying livestock reached 22, while the number of military ships reached 9. The number of ro-ro vessels reached 5.
The port of Jeddah is considered the port from which Jordan received the most ships during the first quarter of the year 2023, and the number reached 62 ships, according to Noman.
The number of port facilities that receive ships in Aqaba has reached 10.
