An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs said, on Monday, that the Jordanian diplomatic mission is in Port Sudan, and it is safe and in safe areas.

The source pointed out through the “Kingdom” that the diplomatic mission is present in Port Sudan, just like other diplomatic missions.

He explained that the mission is working to facilitate any procedures for the Jordanians who have not left yet, and indicated that most of the Jordanians left Sudan as part of the evacuations carried out by Jordan.

On Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs announced that the Jordanian embassy building in Khartoum had been stormed and vandalized.

In a press statement, the ministry expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the attack on the Jordanian embassy building in Khartoum, and all forms of violence and vandalism, especially those that target diplomatic buildings and violate their sanctity.
