A girl, born in 2021, died by drowning in a chalet’s swimming pool on Petra Road, according to what the governor of the Ramtha district, Dr. Tayel Al-Majali, said today, Monday.

He added that the child was taken to the Founding King Hospital, where she was in a bad condition and soon died.

He pointed out that the child was accompanied by a group of women in a chalet on the road to Petra, but they overlooked her and she drowned in the pond.

Majali stated that the farm owner was summoned to verify its licensing, and the necessary legal action will be taken against the farm owner and administrators.
