There are some vegetable soups that are appetizing and at the same time help a person reduce the weight he has gained, and they can be eaten at lunch or dinner, and they are low in calories and fat, according to the “”foodiggity“.

Tomato soup

the components:

4 large, ripe, seedless tomatoes

4-6 cups of water

½ small red onion, peeled

1 small green pepper, without seeds

2 cloves of peeled garlic

1 tablespoon of vinegar

2 tablespoons of olive oil

½ teaspoon ground cumin

Half a teaspoon of ground black pepper

Salt to taste

Fresh basil for garnish




Tomato soup

Method:

Oil is placed in the pan, then garlic, tomatoes, green peppers and onions are placed

Stir the ingredients and cook for two minutes, over medium heat

The ingredients are transferred to the blender, then a little water is placed and the ingredients are mixed until smooth, and some olive oil can be put, while mixing the vegetables.

Add the ingredients back to the pan, adjusting the consistency to taste with the water

Salt, cumin and black pepper are added until the mixture boils.

The soup is removed from the stove and placed in a serving dish, garnished with basil on top.

Half a cup of red lentils

½ medium onion, chopped

1 chopped tomato

1 chopped green pepper

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

Half a teaspoon of ground turmeric

Salt to taste

1 tablespoon of ghee

2 teaspoons of olive oil

Cumin seeds are added for a few seconds

Add the chopped onions and cook for 2-3 minutes over medium heat

Chopped tomatoes and green pepper are added with turmeric and salt

The stocks are cooked for 3 minutes and then the pre-cooked lentils are added.

All the mixture is stirred well

Then cover and cook for 5 minutes

A teaspoon of ghee is placed

Then it is removed from the fire and served and decorated with coriander.
