Parliamentary sources have ruled out the imminent issuance of a decision to dissolve the House of Representatives, with the issuance of a royal will to adjourn the regular session of the House of Representatives.

The sources told Al-Bawsala that the new political parties that were licensed following the amendments to the election law, and that the parties are not ready to run early elections in the event that the House of Representatives is dissolved.

The sources suggested that the House of Representatives would complete its full constitutional term, without issuing a decision to dissolve it.

According to the recently approved constitutional amendments, the House of Representatives will elect, in its next regular session, a new speaker, in addition to the executive office.

And a royal decree was issued to adjourn the regular session of the National Assembly, starting from the morning of Saturday, corresponding to the thirteenth of May, 2023 AD.
