An official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army said that a number of old mines will be detonated tomorrow morning, Thursday, on the border strip opposite Prince Muhammad Bridge (Damya Bridge).

And the source indicated that after surveys and inspections, it was found that these mines pose a danger to the residents of the area and their property if they remain for a longer period due to the possibility of self-detonation, as the area was evacuated of residents in preparation for the detonation process.

The source noted that there will be sounds as a result of the bombing, as it calls upon the armed forces not to approach the area and not to circulate rumors that would cause anxiety among the members of society.
