The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Al-Safadi, said that Jordan, in the event that it takes any step to protect national security and confront any threat to it, will be announced at the appropriate time.

And Safadi said during a press conference with his Dutch counterpart that the drug problem is a major threat to the Kingdom, the region and the world as a whole in light of the escalation of drug smuggling operations, and during the Amman meeting this was discussed.

He referred to a Jordanian-Syrian agreement to form a joint political security team to confront the drug threat and end it completely, and we are continuing to work to establish the committee, and we will communicate with the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take a clear mechanism of action.
