The Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites announced the organization of a competition in the book (Qabasat from the Book of Etiquette in the Etiquette of the Qur’an Campaign) by Imam al-Nawawi, may God have mercy on him, for students in the Holy Qur’an houses affiliated to the Ministry in all regions of the Kingdom for males and females.
Assistant Secretary-General of the Ministry of Awqaf for Directorate Affairs, Director of the Directorate of Sharia Education, Dr. Hatem Al-Suhaimat, said that the competition targets the age group (11_17) years, as the exams start from tomorrow, Saturday, May 6, and will continue until May 11.
Al-Suhaimat added to the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the Directorate of Sharia Education completed the formation of specialized committees to supervise the competition at the level of endowment directorates in the field in order to manage the competition. The Directorate of Sharia Education, and Sheikh Tawfiq Damra, and it was distributed free of charge to all the Holy Qur’an houses in the Kingdom.
Al-Suhaimat indicated that this distinguished activity comes with the aim of spreading culture and science derived from the light of the Holy Qur’an and the purified Sunnah of the Prophet, in light of the achievements and excellence achieved by the role of the Holy Qur’an at the level of the Kingdom, as the Ministry of Awqaf did not overlook the most important aspect of the noble message of the Noble Qur’an in spreading Sublime morals, upliftment to high morals, and beautiful qualities that should be distinguished by the people of the Holy Qur’an, who are God’s people and His special ones.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Endowments has been organizing annually various religious competitions under royal patronage, most notably the international and local Hashemite competitions for memorizing and reciting the Noble Qur’an for males and females, as well as establishing summer centers for teaching and memorizing the Noble Qur’an and its recitation in all regions of the Kingdom, where the Ministry provides its services and sponsorship for teaching the Noble Qur’an. Free of charge for all students enrolled in the Holy Qur’an courses and summer centers of different age groups. Competitions are also organized in jurisprudence, hadith sciences and the honorable Prophet’s biography at the level of the Qur’an courses and summer centers.
