Minister of Justice, Dr. Ahmed Al-Zayadat, received in his office yesterday, Monday, the Minister of Justice and Public Security of Norway, Ms. Emily Inger, and the Norwegian Ambassador to Jordan, Mr. Aspen Lindbäck, and their accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the increases emphasized the depth of the relations between the two friendly countries and the strength of the relations between the Jordanian Ministry of Justice and its Norwegian counterpart aimed at enhancing joint work in the legal fields, pointing to the importance of strengthening ways of joint qualitative cooperation between the two countries and exchanging experiences in the interest of the two friendly countries. Norway in supporting projects to respond to the Syrian crisis.

For her part, the Minister of Justice of Norway, Ms. Emily Anger, said that the Jordanian-Norwegian cooperation is a constructive cooperation aimed at consolidating legal cooperation, and added that the meeting between the two parties will result in the exchange of expertise and legal experiences between the two countries, appreciating Jordan’s role in the field of refugee assistance.
The two sides discussed, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Justice for Judicial Affairs, Judge Dr. Saad Al-Lawzi, and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Justice for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Ms. Kholoud Al-Abadi, ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the legal fields and the projects of the Norwegian Council for Refugee Assistance in Jordan and the role of the Ministry of Justice in supervising them.
